Happy Halloween!

Well the night is winding down, the kids are in bed and Noah and I are MOVED IN!!! I finally unpacked all the boxes that were in my living room and kitchen (there are more in the storage room, but they're out of the way so I'm not worrying about them right now). We got the last of our belongings out of the old house and did our final cleaning on it. We were supposed to have the sale close on it today, but it's been held up. We're now praying for it to go forward next week.

My kid's had an awesome time trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood (even my one-year-old couldn't get enough of it). Gabby (4) was Tinkerbelle and Alex (1) was a chicken--so uncoordinated, but cute none the less.

Hopefully next year I'll have the time to do something a little more interesting with our porch, like this example from Martha Stewart. I was really surprised with how decked out some of our neighbor's houses were and almost felt like my grapevine pumpkin from Target and my orange un-jack-o-lanterned pumpkin weren't festive enough; however, in an effort to be the neighborhood favorite, Noah always gives away canned pop, which trumps decorations.

As soon as I find my cord that lets me upload them into the computer--wana help unload boxes?

Love the canned pop idea!

I wish I could take the credit for that, but it's all Noah.
