So I'm thinking about doing a brunch because: 1) brunch foods are pretty 2) they're relatively easy to prepare and 3) they include some of my favorite foods such as the crepes above (with a host of filling options), German pancakes with the buttermilk syrup or raspberries and powdered sugar . . .
You can't go wrong with quiche for a brunch.
I'll probably do a test brunch for the Sunday school class Noah and I teach so I can work out the kinks ahead of time.
I think these napkin holders are so cute.
I love this idea from Martha Stewart with the herb garden centerpiece. Find directions here. Not only are they cute for a shower, but they're perfect for a window garden (I use a lot of fresh herbs so I might do this for me and then use them as center pieces at the shower--in conjunction with egg decor of course).

Where are the games? I hope you play the one with different candy bars embedded into Pampers. The mother-to-be has to guess which one is Snickers and which is Milky Way. Very classy game.
All great ideas! When and what can I do to help?
Margaret: I'm not too big on games, I think I'll just go for the small talk.
Gretchen: I'm so glad you asked--would you mind making all the food? (: Just kidding, let me know when you'll be in town, I'd be more than happy to plan it around your schedule so I can look good!
Kaila,
I think those are great ideas! That shower was pretty great on Saturday, so I can understand the intimidation factor. Good thing I haven't been put in charge of anything yet, should I take that as a hint?! HAHA!! I don't mind at all. Let me know if you need help with anything. Do they know what they are having?-Karalee
They're finding out in 3 weeks I think.
