Breakfast: smoothie, makes one serving (5 points)
Breakfast: smoothie, makes one serving (5 points)
- 1/2 C frozen raspberries
- 1 small banana, peeled
- 2/3 unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled
- 1/2 C ice
- 2 Tbsp low-fat plain yogurt
- 3 tsp wheat germ
- 1 tsp honey
Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Pour and serve immediately.
Lunch: 2 bread sticks at Chuck E. Cheese (4 points each--yikes)!
Dinner: Taco Soup (6 points in 1 cup)
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 onion
- 1 14.5 oz can stewed tomatoes
- 1 14.5 oz can of corn
- 2 14.5 oz cans red kidney beans
- 1 14.5 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 pkg taco seasoning
Brown meat and onion. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Top with grated cheese, fresh tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream and tortilla chips or Frito's (none of which are accounted for in the points).
