So these are my favorite bedding choices for my new master bedroom. The top picture is an unrealistic fantasy (the comforter alone goes for $1,100 at
Posh Living ).
Target has a similar set more in my price range. The lower picture is a set from
Pottery Barn. I'm leaning more to the Pottery Barn set--I'll accent it with some black and white
houndstooth pillows . I'm painting the walls a similar shade of blue as pictured in the Pottery Barn room (Kwall-Howell "Grey Expectations" 85-84 M). Am I crazy for wanting a white duvet cover when I have kids?

Um, yes you are.
You sure you don't want to think about that a little more Kako? Isn't that why Clorox came out with the fantastic bleach pen?
Hey, that carpet would have stayed white if, when we were doing construction on our house people hadn't walked on it with TAR on their feet.
One more thing--When we ripped out the carpet, I'd say it was still very OFF white.
I have a white duvet that's held up pretty well, but has to be washed often. I love the houndstooth pillows.
I'm so relieved to hear that! I was beginning to think I really was crazy--but are your kids abnormally clean and cautious?
